- Spent more than a week away from my parents for the first time in my life
- Was scared to death by how stressful and busy 1787 Orientation week was
- I started being talked to regularly by Drew
- I dominated the Sim with my Awesome
- Me and my roommate have passive-aggressive battles

- I joined Madison Liberty
- I attend my first real college football game (because UB doesn't count)
- I see Aziz Ansari perform stand up from the front row and meet him afterwards
- I see Jimmy Carter, the only time I have ever seen a President in person

- I attend a Third Eye Blind concert
- The parents visit me the morning after the drunkest I've ever been, I manage to hide the pain
- I come to accept that I hate my suite and pursue a more secluded lifestyle
- I tell Washington DC thanks, but no thanks, on that bridge to nowhere

- Madison Liberty's Shot Glass sale is the most fun I've had in a long time, especially when an old man bought one
- I VOTE for the first time ever, and do a write-in for a deceased person
- I declare myself as a Public Policy major, abandoning thoughts of being an Engineer
- Calculus becomes my favorite class, and Dr. Brown my favorite professor
- I go home for Thanksgiving, concluding the longest period I've spent outside Buffalo in my life

- One of my two suitemates who I'd call a friend moves to another dorm because ours sucks.
- Finals are surprisingly stress-free, and I manage to place 2nd in my Physics 240 class of 80 students, most of whom are Engineering majors
- My group of Buffalo friends is finally all together again, Carl having been in Italy all fall.
- I am confused over whether or not I should laugh, cry, or scream at the Bills
- I decide that football is gay, and hockey is way better
- Matt Rubin flirts with Allison

- My first night back at JMU is the saddest I've felt in a long, long time.
- I man up and get over it
- I make no effort to be friends with anyone in my dorm hall, because seriously, screw these people

- I write an OpEd that gets published in The Breeze
- My roommate's frat activities leave the room empty most of the day and night, making me happy
- I help plan an event for the Public Policy and Administration Majors organization (PASO), then don't attend
- I start to mildly understand what a Partial Metric Space is in my Math497 lab
- I decide to try to double major in PPA and Mathematics
- "Y'all" accidentally slips out of my mouth with genuine inflection

- Spring break is awesome, as is my birthday party that occurs then
- I feel guilty for not drinking on St. Patrick's Day
- I write another OpEd for the Breeze about the values of Federalism, Congress ignores me and Health Care Reform is signed in to law on my birthday
- My actual birthday goes by without much excitement, but I do have dinner at a nice place and see a friend perform at open mic night
- It is warm! I am happy!

- 2 more OpEds published!! Woo-hoo
- I go to an anarchist demonstration named 'Springfest', walk around cops in riot gear, break the law, question humanity's actual nature
- I am comforted by the fact that free will is just an illusion so it's not my fault
- Madison Liberty puts on a tax day protest and a 4/20 brownie sale
- I register for fall courses and finally get to start on my PPA major
- I spend nearly 20 hours in a car in one weekend to attend Game 2 of the Playoffs
- The Sabres break my heart, then the Caps, Coyotes, and Kings destroy my faith in God
- I decide that hockey is gay, and football is way better

- I finish a shortish story for no reason other than because I chose too, and it feels good
- I can't wait to go home!!
- I am declared winner of the Sim, because I have won it.

I love this. Why is everyone stealin' my meme? BECAUSE IT WAS MINE, FIRST, WITH THE YEAR IN REVIEW. BITCHES.

Also don't feel so bad about saying "y'all," I do it too but it's sort of more joking than I bet yours was. I can't pull it off. Not even whilst typing, y'all.
