Doling Out the Harshness

A partial list of things that piss me off.

- People who say “federal government” when they mean “national government”
- “Guestimate” and “irregardless”
- People that make mock NFL drafts for a living.
- The people in political discussions who correct someone’s usage of the word democracy, and go on to explain that we instead have a republic, like that’s some big fucking revelation. We all know what the Electoral College is, you little shit.
- Everyone at ESPN that pretends to understand hockey.
- Eye contact with strangers.
- The RIAA.
- People that call the tea partiers “tea baggers” – what the fuck is the point of that? Do you think it offends them? Do you think it makes impartial people more likely to agree with you? You sound like an asshole!
- Pearl Jam
- When the Kool-Aid guy punches a giant hole in my wall.
- Cam Neely
- How much worse Spongebob episodes became from season 4 onwards

-Sure.
-Absolutely.
-I hate Kiper and McShay.
-Agreed.
-Sure. But you also have to understand that no one outside the Northeast and Canada actually cares about hockey. There's a reason ESPN dropped their coverage.
-Okay.
-What is this, Halo?
-Okay.
-lol
-Always.

Irregardless of what you think I will continue to use the word guesstimate!

J-Mads wrote:- People that make mock NFL drafts for a living.

Why hate them when you can try to become them? Best job ever.

J-Mads wrote:- The people in political discussions who correct someone’s usage of the word democracy, and go on to explain that we instead have a republic, like that’s some big fucking revelation. We all know what the Electoral College is, you little shit.

Well we really don't live in a pure democracy... just sayin'.

J-Mads wrote:- Eye contact with strangers.

But it's the best way to make new friends!

J-Mads wrote:- The RIAA.

But without them, how would we know who went platinum?

But partyer and partier aren't words... so they are either tea party protesters, which is so long, or tea baggers, which is a term use for people who bag tea I believe.

Why Pearl Jam when Duran Duran existed?

J-Mads wrote:- When the Kool-Aid guy punches a giant hole in my wall.

I highly doubt that ever happened!

J-Mads wrote:- Cam Neely

He doesn't play anymore so who cares?

I agree that they are worse but they are still funny. Even the new ones are funny, have you watched them? But yes, the first few seasons were so great...

I agree with everything on this list save "eye contact with strangers," which I find intensely amusing.
Also I have learned what "tea bagging" is (I guess it's because I hang out with a bunch of college guys, goooo figure) and... it's probably not something cool to call those who protest taxes.
Also the word "guestimate" infuriates me almost as much as people who say... other things... I have examples but they all escape me at the moment.

That's the only Duran Duran song I know. The only Pearl Jam song I know is "Jeremy."
And when it comes down to that, Duran Duran > Pearl Jam.
OH MY GOD IT RHYMES. DID YOU EVEN NOTICE THAT!!!
