Korean War Situation Room

Post by The Prez on Wed Sep 23, 2009 4:07 pm

The CIA knows where the missiles were launched, but the missiles are protected against most technological weapons. Nuclear weapons are advised to destroy the launch sites and storage cells or ground forces. It is basically North Korea versus the world at this point. As of now though much of UN fears use of their forces and only a handful of forces have agreed to participate. China would like to take the lead on this militarily, but I do not feel this is in our best interests.

Also, NORAD and the NSA believe the North Korea is legit in their threat to launch a weapon in 24 hours and believe that they may very well launch before then. Targets are most likely in Japan and the United States although an attack on China is possible. There are at least five nuclear sites in North Korea and it is believed they could launch from any at will.

Kim Jong Il has moved to a secure bunker at one of the sites. A covert operation could be dispatched to assassinate him, but it is not estimated as feasible at this time

Note also, as cited in Ex Parte Wachob, the War Powers Act was ruled unconstitutional. You do not need the authority of Congress to send in troops, but I heavily advise that you declare war on North Korea to maintain US power over China and Russia. Yes we are all on the same side for once, but China and Russia are bound to declare individual war.

New CIA information points to the conclusion that China wishes to have virtual control of North Korea

Doesn't NK's violation of the cease-fire make declaring war unnecessary? I thought it was already declared. I could ask Congress for a fresh declaration but right now I believe we are at war with them.

My suggestion would be the use nuclear force on any known launch sites/storage cells ASAP (assuming all are secluded from population centers with innocent citizens), and then let China take more authority once the NK threat is reduced to conventional weapons.

Reading your new post - perhaps China can be given the authority to write the peace, and send in land troops after the first couple days, but as long as there is imminent threat of nuclear missile use, the US will be as active as is necessary to defend against that possibility.

China does not want to clean up nuclear waste, they want to use the space themselves. If we use nuclear weapons we risk China not helping or working against us. Russia has similar goals. The US never declared war on North Korea, the UN, joined by the US, declared war. As of now we are under the UN's command to some extent. The UN Security Council will be having a vote as to who takes command.

Here us why South Korea is getting owned. Yes, our troops are there, but our troops are defending cities, not operating missile defense technology.

The leaders of South Korea are dead. This is TOP SECRET information just released. China has had control of the government for some time, they are only using nuclear weapons to keep South Korea's people in line

I am now actively seeking the council of Congress. China's nuclear attack on Taiwan has caused me to favor nuclear annihilation of China, however, given the rampant path to destruction that the middle east and India are on, I'm afraid nuclear explosions in China would basically wipe out the entire Eastern Hemisphere's economy, culture, and environment.

I still lean towards nuking China, but they are running out of nukes themselves and if they had no nuclear power I would not allow them to be hit with WMDs. How many do they have left?

Is there any chance of India or Pakistan running out of WMDs before both countries are completely leveled?

China only has about 5 left. Pakistan may run out soon. India is uncertain. Pakistan might be dead.

Congress will decide, but note that Congress is most displeased with the current state they are in and remind you that they/we still hold impeachment powers over you and Chief Justice Gordon.
